With our education in life and investing I like to
think of it as the simple example that
T. Harv Eker gives.
We can have all the necessary tools in life to do the jobs we want to
do. If our Tool Box is broken or has a hole in it all the tools in
the world will not help. If the tool box is broken we cannot
access the tools and if it has a hole in it all the tools fall out.
We are the Tool Box! What we hold to be true in
our lives is the context that we work out of using our tools. If
our Tool Box it broken or has a hole in it we just have a very hard time
using our tools.
Think of the times and the state of mind you may have
found yourself in during a divorce, financial stress or heading to
bankruptcy and possible foreclosure, or a major medical problem or a job
loss, relationship problems with your boss, work associates, wife, kids,
friends, and relatives.
Think of how difficult is was to stay focused on
whatever direction you were heading and how just trying to use the tools
of your job and daily life were almost impossible because you just
couldn't stay focused on what you were trying to do because of the
problems you were currently dealing with.
We are the Tool Box out of which everything in our
life operates. This page is dedicated to educating and fine tuning
our Tool Box.
Below are some of what I feel are the most important
places to start on the journey of educating and fine tuning your Tool
Box. There will be more and I am listing them in priority of
importance.
